Cowgirl Chick since 1999
Being a Cowgirl Chick is very special to me. I love the tradition. Cowgirls get dirty. There is no job too tough for a real cowgirl. We do whatever it takes to do the job - the right way. And, most of all, we NEVER QUIT!
I have learned so many lessons from my years as a Cowgirl Chick. It has taught me the importance of leadership, honesty and respect. When I see how many little girls look up to us, it reminds me that I need to be a good role model.
This team has also brought me closer with my mom, Trish Carter, and my sisters. In addition to learning so many valuable lessons, I have met some amazing people - many of whom are struggling with cancer and other illnesses. They inspire me to be grateful for each and every day!
My advice to every cowgirl? Never give up and be true to yourself!
